The United Nations team played two great games. The first was very close against kick a mockingbird ending 6-4. The championship game against Ball Kickers was intense and hard fought. Both teams played really well but United Nations came out on top 11 to 9.
Alex not only had a good game this week, he played with exceptional spirit and heart. You could tell by how he was acting with his team and the other team that he was really happy just to be playing the game, and he kept this positive attitude even when things didn't go his way (like when he struck out for kicking the ball in front of the plate). This positive and fun attitude really represented the Underdog spirit.
Robyn didn't just play one game this week, she was willing to stick around after her game had finished and all her team had left to help out another team that was short a player. In both games her spirit was obvious, and she played her heart out both times. The spirit of giving was evident in her giving her time to help the other team, and on top of that she played hard and stayed upbeat and positive through both full games.
