When it comes to sheer entertainment value, few teams get it done quite like the Cold Hearted Snakes. Combining costumes that never failed to impress, music for each person during their at-bats, and an attitude that was not only positive but at times hilarious. Even when they were eliminated in a heartbreaking loss to Sparkle Motion, their stereo was playing "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men. Perhaps we should have expected nothing less from a team who got its name from a Paula Abdul song. So in an afternoon filled with accolades, one has to go to the Cold Hearted Snakes - win or lose, they look good doing it.
This week's player of the week showed up late to the game of The Achiever's vs Cold Hearted Snakes. To add to the drama Cold Hearted Snakes had allready gone done 5-0. Cold Hearted Snake's Brian Pilling's 3 run homer sparked them back to life as they came back to win 8-6.
The Cold Hearted Snakes team name may sound like a Paula Abdul reference, but this team came out more on the side of Poison
Sunday. And nobody rocked out with their kickballs out more than Aaron, who pitched a stellar game, caught everything within arms reach and looked good doing it. It was said afterward that Aaron rocked Thatchers, and completely destroyed a cheap motel room . That's rock stars for you.
