Chilly dawgs pulled through in the clutch tonight to take home the bacon! The hollywood rejects put up a good fight but the chilly dawgs just weren't having it. Third place goes to We got balls, with glory roll coming in a close fourth.
All the teams played great tonight, as well as all season. Thanks for a fun season!!!
Way to go Lisa! Lisa stepped up her game big time this week in and helped her team attain victory over the hollywood rejects. Lisa upped her score by 65 points from game one to game two tonight, giving her the best score of her whole team in the championship. Great job tonight, you will be missed next season.
Player of the week goes to the Greg (a.k.a. lazer) of the notorious chilly dawgs. Greg not only capped out at 205 (real score = 209) but he looked good while doing it. Greg came dressed to impress for prom night and also brought all of the women on his team corsages...what a guy! Keep up the great bowling.
Congratulations to Giovanni for being the player with the most "almost turkeys". For the past two sundays Giovanni has come to the lanes with his game face on...only to get as close as possible to a turkey without actually attaining three strikes in a row. Two strikes are usually followed by a spare or perhaps the unwanted 9-pin. Unfortunately, consecutively bowling two stikes in a row isn't "technically" recognized by underdog, hence the no free beers or t-shirt prizes for such outstanding play. Keep up the good work Giovanni and perhaps someday you will master the turkey!
Ron, Ron, Ron....where in the world did you come from? Ron is apparently the new ringer that Lisa brought in for the Chilly Dawgs. At the end of the night he was capped out at 205 for both games! Way to go Ron!!!
