What a night! Comin' outta the #4 seed the Modified Shockers first took out the 'Mafia' then devoured some Chocolate Salty Balls to win their first league championship. The win also earned the a covoted entry into the first ever Tournament of Champions.
The Shockers had the previousely beaten Mafia Strikes Back by 2 pins, so everyone was expecting another tight matchup. This time they won by 3 pins behind another great games from Devin and Lauren. You don't get a much better matchup than a difference of 5 pins over 3 total games. Crazy. And this wasn't even the championship!
The Modified Shockers went on to pin Chocolate Salty Balls and take the championship.
In the 3rd place game - The Modifiers brewed up enough bowling mojo to defeat an alreadyreeling Mafia team.
Congrats to The Modified Shockers, and good luck representing Wed nights in the Bowling Tournament!
Week in and week out, Devin has anchored his team - which culminated Wednesday night in a Modified Shockers championship. He rolled lights out all season, but no score was more important than his 178 in the first round of the playoffs to get his team past a feisty Mafia Strikes Back team.
