When The Blue Ballers showed up to the field today, they knew it would take 3 straight wins to walk away as champions. This is exactly what they did. In the quarterfinals, the took apart brews on first early and coasted to victory. Game 2 was against the undefeated and top seeded where my pitches at. It took 9 innings and some incredible defense, but they walked away victorious by a score of 3-2. In the Championship, they would play the second seeded ripcity ballerz. After a close game for 6 innings, the blue ballers broke out the legs in the top of the 7th scoring 7 runs. This would help ensure a win. They walked away with their 3rd win of the day and the \championship by a score of 12-3.
Kyle led his team to 3 straight wins to claim this seasons championship. He had an incredible diving catch that saved the game in the 8th inning of the semi-finals. Also, broke the championship game wide open with a bases clearing triple.
Alex started the day off right by getting extra muddy! He had several impressive dives/slides/slips and was definitely not afraid to get dirty.
