It was 0-0 then 1-0, then 2-1, then 3-3, then 4-3, 4-4, 5-4, 5-5 and then we went to extra innings.
What a night. Both teams has championship aspirations and played accordingly, but in the end it was a barely fair ball down the first base line that lifted "We Always Get to 3rd Base" over the "Mafia." The final score 6-5 in 8.
It was a hard fought game with more lead changes than a go kart race and more ups and downs than a kangaroo on a trampoline. Both teams brought it, but in the end it was "3rd Base" who emerged the victor. Cheers to both teams for a great season - Viva Le Red Rubber Ball!
