The Real Air Bud Makes a Guest Appearance

In a rare happening this week, we're giving a USL Team of the Week award instead of Player of the Week. And that's because Air Bud Strikes Back not only had the dog the team is named after show up to cheer them on, but they were great sports in staying later to play an impromptu game vs. Bounce Back. After working hard to pull off a 2-1 set match in their first game vs. Dirty Sets, Air Bud was set to head off into the sunset, when Bounce Back's opponent was a no show. Sad faces on Bounce Back as this is the second week they haven't had a challenger show. Enter the crew of Air Bud, who delayed their happy hour celebrations and stuck around to enter into rousing competition with Bounce Back and make a few new friends. So thanks to Marcie, Alicia, Peter, Ryan and Lauren for showing your volleyball spirit and teamwork and for introducing us to the real Air Bud - woof to you!
