When a number of players, as well as the umpire, showed up under the weather, Julie showed up with a smile and in high spirits! After the game when I was asking the team if they had anyone in mind for a player of the game Julie was quick to point out that it should be her. Not necessarily because of a particular play of hers, although she did have a solid game, but because she just wanted to be player of the game. That shows some true Underdog spirit but just being there and having fun no matter what the circumstances are. Way to go Julie (AKA "Miss America" and "Frank the Tank")!
