Hats off to the Volley Lama, who played tough and came through victorious in the championship match, despite missing some of their key players. Scrappy Kilmore gave them a run, but these Lamas would not stand down! They had some killer plays at the net and even more spectacular saves throughout the three games. They donned their headbands with pride and smiles. Way to go Volley Lama!!
JT Simpson is receiving player of the week for phenomenal plays on the court, and sound effects that match his unique style. A presence to be reckoned with for sure, and he even makes plays that shock HIM beyond belief. A tremendous save was made when he hit a ball out of the net, and sent it over to the opponent's side. Shock and awe over took his face, but that didn't compare to the huge smile. He is an integral part of this long time playing team, and contributes to his team in so many ways. From awesome serves to hits, JT runs the court and always helps lead his team to victory.
