Can you say; Bennie and the Jets, Candle in the Wind, Tiny Dancer, Crocodile Rock, or Rocket Man? Princess Diana has come back from the afterlife to tell us there has been an Elton John sighting at Underdog Dodgeball. Portland is known for its local music scene, but to have a world class star of this magnitude on the tennis courts at Jefferson High School is simply amazing. It won’t be long before the crazed fans will be hanging off the chain link fence and getting the vapors just to catch a glimpse of Elton’s (AKA Josh Leslie of Team Shenanigans and his new sunglasses) strong throwing arm. The only thing missing from this week’s performance was Elton’s trademark feather Boa.

For Josh Leslie’s uncanny resemblance to Elton, and for his accurate, yet graceful throwing style, he has earned the Player of the Week Award. I hope this is just the beginning of increased star sightings!! Where Elton goes, many more are sure to follow.

In the opening week of Summer dodgeball at Jefferson High School "Shenanigans" and "Testicleaze anc His Sparkle Motion Dreamcoat" The match between the two nepotist teams was sure to be a thriller. Megan Mahoney of Shenanigans outlasted her opponent to give her team a 3-2 victory.
