The Summer Grass Midcore Championship at Willamette Park was a veritable Clash of the Titans. Less Than Perfect and Not So Fast Not So Furious came out swinging and both teams were in top form. In a QB duel for the history books, Brian Tomalak (LTP) and Tommy Moore (NSFNSF) traded bombs and TDs all afternoon. The momentum shifted for good halfway through the 2nd half when Tomalak teleported himself in front of a rare errant pass by Moore and took it to the house for the coffin nail pick6. When the dust finally settled, it was Less Than Perfect who emerged victorious to the final tune of: Less Than Perfect - 53 NSFNSF - 49
Brian Tomalak ended his Underdog Football career in style by scoring a combined 15 TDs on the day and leading both of his teams to their respective championships - Elway style.
Brian Tomalak came out with his guns blazing for Week 1 of the playoffs on Sunday at Willamette Park. Brian threw 6 TD passes in his first game and led his team to a thrilling 66-65 double-overtime victory by threading the needle for the game winning 2-point conversion.
Erik Venning put together a good day for his team bringing in 2 interceptions, one for a touchdown. He had 3 touchdowns on the day overall as Less than Perfect put up 70 points in a defensive struggle.
