Wet Hot Pink rolled after handing Debauchery Barn their first loss of the season with a score of 60-14. The secondary for the Wet Hot Pink finished with four interceptions and six points. The highly anticipated championship game featured Wet Hot Pink and Balls and Dolls led by Steven Harper who threw for no touchdowns but played a tough game. Wet Hot Pink played defense like the love child of the 85' Bears and Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain not allowing a single point for the normally high scoring Balls and Dolls. Jeff Sanyors job was easy on offense but he still played smart and well with three TD passes and one flag pull. Congrats Wet Hot Pink as the Underdog leagues champs and both dominating victories!
Jeff Sawyer is the Underdog Player of the Week for the Championship week! He is a member of the league champion Wet Hot Pink ball club and wears the pink proud as the starting quarterback for the pink crew. Jeff is also known as the "snail sawyer" to his teammates after taking forty-nine yards to catch a player who he threw a pick to. Jeff is the player of the week for his surgical passing skills and his conservative style of play. Jeff is not afraid to take a sack or throw a ball into the bleachers instead he would rather keep possession and keep moving the chains, a skill that most league quarterbacks don't possess. And for his consistent dominating play and football smarts is why Jeff is a champion and the Underdog player of the week!
Jon Little and Travis Berg also known as the mullet twins played a different style of Underdog flag football this week. Their style consisted of business in front and party in back hair with jean shorts that were cut so short the pockets acted as two additional flags to pull. But despite this they put on a show by defending multiple passes and scoring two touchdowns between the two. However they did not lead their team to victory this week but they did have a great time playing football in the rain, with the Wet Hot Pink Football Club.
