Swear to drunk I'm not god were all on the same page prior to their championship game against Mighty Oregon on Sunday...try to contain MIghty Oregon's quick as a cat, ever elusive quarterback Osbaldo Escutia. Oz turned more than one pair of ankles throughout the regular season with his uncanny ability to keep his flags out of reach while zippin' his way to the endzone.
Greg Long stepped up to the challenge and then some throughout this very entertaining championship game, harassing Oz on just about every play in the backfield and registering multiple drive crushing sacks. The entire defense was on point today, led by Greg's monstrous, Lawrence Taylor like game at the pass rushing position.
A 34-28 victory and Division 3 championship added to their resume for team Swear to drunk I'm not god...not a bad way to spend the afternoon at Lewis & Clark.
Ashleigh Hurd wakes up in the morning and puts on her pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else... but then she goes out and kills the game in flag football. Ashleigh's tough as nails demeanor on the field set the tone for her team during a 46-28 playoff win over Any Given Sunday on Sunday at Lewis & Clark. Ashleigh had a lot of huge receptions and long runs after the catch in helping her team advance to the second round. Way to go Ashleigh! You're this week's Player of the Week.
