"Truly the underdogs" Hellz Kitchen said, but man it didn't look like it at all on the lanes. Rolling against Wild Turkeys in the first, they were able to put up an impressive 612 team game and give them a huge gust of confidence behind them going into the second round.
Pin & Tonic really brought up their game against the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers in the first round and were able to keep their great team score with clutch rolling from John, Jason, Bridget and Kendra who all had their sights set for the big showdown. LLUA didn't much care, and seemed far more excited to be chanting, whooping, and drinking their way through the game, fully donned in the freshest of superhero duds.
Meanwhile on the end lanes, Turkey Dawgs destroyed... TURKEY DAWGS in the no-tap championship and walked away with the win (and the loss...)
Throughout the season, Little Lebowski Urban Achievers have brought nothing short of mad brilliance in spirit to the lanes. Every week has been a theme, every night has been a party, and everyone around them just had to get caught up in the good times a-rollin'. Plus a post game karaoke party? AWESOME!
The grand finale for #1 came down to Pin & Tonic and Hellz Kitchen. As HK began losing the wind in their sails from the previous match, Pin & Tonic picked up the pace even more. With some great scores from Ken and Jason, it was just not enough to beat out crazy game from HK's Adam and Nick who helped immensely to bring their score to championship level! Nicely done sirs and ladies of Hellz Kitchen!
