To earn P.O.W. honors this week Elliot had to shake off a freak soccer accident that left him playing one handed. Inspired by the World Cup final he was watching before his two o'clock game Elliot came out and had an afternoon many people playing with two good hands would envy. His uncanny ability to put the ball in play one handed enabled him to rack up multiple base hits an "infield triple" and many RBI's. On the mound Elliot made up for a sore glove hand by working the strike zone allowing his defense to help him out and working the psyche of opposing hitters by an increased amount of chatter on the hill.
