The first game was a little rough, but thanks to a series of unexpected events Menace to Sobriety was offered a shot at redemption Wednesday night. And they redeemed it hard, so very hard. Round 2 of The Babes vs Menace was one hell of a pitcher's duel, but in the bottom of the 7th with no runs on either side, Ben hit a leadoff double to put Menace in prime position. The following play, on what should have been a bunt single, Ben made an aggressive turn at third and headed for home to put the game away. It was a bang bang play at home, but the umpire was in perfect position as always... Safe!! Menace wins the game! The win might not have counted in the scorebooks, but it will surely count in our hearts. Forever.
Not sure which was better....the catch or the post catch celebration. Both were equally awesome and made Meghan the no brainer choice for player of the week. Great job out there and keep up the excitement.
