Spring league of Underdog Sports League softball got off to an amazing start at Rose City Park. Spirits were high, the music was pumping, game faces were seen on all teams...not even an extremely muddy infield could dampen the mood of the players. The third game of the day introduced us to Don Head of team Frybread Mafia, a "young" man playing in his first ever softball game. Unfazed by the the pressure of the moment and good humor ribbing of his teammates, Don played solid defense and had a couple of hits...and in the words of Don, one of the best parts of his first game was that "I didn't get hurt." Don, please don't let this award make you unbearable around your teammates for the rest of the season!
