With time running short for the 2nd playoff game of the night, team Los Chupacabras had a seemingly insurmountable deficit to overcome in order to advance in the playoffs. Trailing 21-6 entering the bottom of the 5th would lead an average team to declare the game is over...Los Chupacabras proved to all of the naysayers they are indeed not your average team! Timely hits, a walk here and there, aggressive baserunning...the stars were aligned for an amazing 15 run inning and eventual 23-22 comeback victory for the men and women of team Los Chupacabras. Congrats on a great team victory!!
Jamil and Gerard proved there still are nice people out there this week by sticking around and joining forces with the shorthanded Swingin Bunters.
Without Jamil and Gerard, the Bunters would have had to forfeit which is just no fun. Not only did they lend a helping hand, but t hey aided the still shorthanded Bunters into a very insperational tie. Great job guys!
Jamil was all over the field last night, making plays at shortstop, lauching fly balls in left field and gunning runners out at first base. He even stood with the umpire and watched the clouds for lighting...
...shortstop...clean up hitter...meteorologist - Jamil did it all last night...
