Brian N

More Maxim

Let's talk about that pancake! You don't see those too often, and when you do they aren't always as successful as they were planned to be, but Brian pulled it off beautifully! And this was the perfect game to do it on too! We are getting down to the wire, they are fighting point for point and really putting in the work because only the winning team will be walking into the next round of the finals. I'm not sure if Brian is a player who shines under the pressure or if that is just him on any given day on the court, but either way, he is a fun team player to watch! Congrats on helping your team make it to the next round and for being the player of the week! Keep up the awesome plays Brian!

Joe Olson

Determination is Key

Joe’s team, More Maxim, was short a couple players at the beginning of their games but rounded up enough troops to have a legal match. Through this distraction however, Joe had the eye of the tiger. From the first serve he was determined to try his hardest and push his team to victory. Unfortunately they fell short but Joe’s attitude went the long mile. Thank you Joe for always having fun no matter the circumstances.

Tuesday, April 9

Zina Polushkin

More Maxim and Maxim player

Zina not only played for her own team, More Maxim, at 8 but continued to play for Maxim at 9. She earned this weeks player of the week by being relentless on defense. She threw her body onto the floor like it didn’t hurt! True volleyball dedication.
