Wet and Wild with a bit of fire! That’s how OBC played tonight. This group of hard working burn unit nurses decided to try something new and play some volleyball! Tonight they had to tackle a doubleheader. In game one the rain came. It was a downpour, soaking the courts and the team. This gloom didn’t kill OBCs spirits. They played though it, Melissa and Holly truly embraced the rain my lifting their heads and reaching out their arms. After the semifinals they set their sights on the championship game. Joe fought though fatigue and made some awesome kills while Michael kept it consistent with some great serves. Great first league OBC, see you next season!
Despite the rain, Melissa was all smiles! This weeks player of the week is Melissa. She embraced the rain, diving for ball after ball. She made one incredible save after another. All this work paid off as they won their game! Great job this week Melissa, way to play hard!

Joe makes consistent efforts at calling out which teammate he's going to set for and they LOVE it. He's great at showing those bright skills and taking suggestions on better strategies of play from his teammates too! Keep rocking OBC, you have a BRIGHT future ahead of you
