If you were to make an observation about Bag O' Digs' strategy on the court one might think, "to be as silly as possible." But if you look closer this team shows great communication, teamwork, and focus!
From day 1 this team not only has made every member of their team laugh but many times the opposing teams. Leading some to say, "I remember we played you earlier this season, you were the funnest!"
Every member of this team always shows up with great attitude, great charisma, and awesome Costco purchases like yoga pants with pockets and Kirkland brand reading glasses. Is this a paid advertisement? No. But would Bag O' Digs take a sponsorship deal? Maybe. They're up for anything and Underdog Volleyball is a great place to have all that fun.
Fantastic job out there, team - can't wait to see what league you bless us with next!
Woah, woah, woah. Somebody tell Matt the World Cup is over, he has years to master that foot work and if he keeps at it he'll be #1 in not just soccer but amazing foot saves on the court.
Did someone say he's like a Micheal Jordan golf to basketball crossover? No? Well I just did! Bag O' Digs showed up to the championship game and was prepared to leave everything out on the court and Matt did just that. There were slide saves with not just his feet but yes, also his hands. There were dives, and there were monumental efforts to run after a rogue all to keep it in play.
And the team work he and his fellow teammate Scotty had were great. Particularly when the ball bounced back at them twice from the net as they tried with fervor to get it over the net.
Some may try and sit down and cry, but Matt tried and tried and you know what happened after he tried a third time? His team one the championships. Way to go in showing us how it's done Matt and team! Have a great summer!
Kalei showed up bright and early ready to get warmed up and play her heart out! And who can blame her when we have such nice weather and an awesome grass court to play on? The grass may not be the easiest kind of court to get down and scrappy on but Kalei was showin her opponents how it's done! Hitting the floor before the ball does and never giving up on the balls flying into the net, despite all the grass stains that may have incurred. Congrats on being player of the week! Way to play it up Kalei!
