There seemed to be a sweet spot on court one, just above where the setter was standing, that the ball would seem to hover over the net. Shawn found this by serving the ball just over the net, but before it went over it seemed to hand in the air as if balancing on the net deciding where to fall! He definitely took advantage of this spot serving and setting the ball right there, confusing the other team, no one knowing which side the ball would fall on. This helped him and his team rack up some points! He also ran off the court quite a few times never giving up on the ball. All to say it was clear that Shawn was putting in the work and having a fun time with his team. Congrats on being player of the week Shawn!
Sunshine, sunglasses, and nothing but smiles were coming from the court that Ace Venturas was on. And Alex was right there in the middle of it, throwing out all her Ace Ventura, Ball Detective, moves.
Do you go inside your head like Ace goes inside a rhinoceros' uterus when playing volleyball? As in, do you forget to communicate to your surrounding teammates? Just hop over to the court where this team is and they'll give you a lesson in calling the ball and supporting one another.
