Keeping the Night Alive

From one Indy team to another -- Indy 42...Like a Racecar came into save the night at Woks up for a fellow Indy team. When I'd Hit that was a couple players short on the night, Indy 42 rotated out 2 players each game to prevent Forfeit! Keeping the Underdog Spirit alive and making the night about fun, they helped another team when they were down. Both games went on and EVERYONE had a great first hour of play. Thanks for keeping the night going and helping for everyone to have a great time! Indy...42 you get the checkered flag for AWESOMENESS this week!

Prepared Like a Boyscout

Giant Smile

Indy 42 officially changed their name on Thursday to Indy 42.....Like a Racecar. But it looks like that wasn't the only thing that changed. On Thursday their final player showed up to keep in interesting.
Julie Webster came out to play in her 1st Underdog game.....ever. She showed up fully prepared like a boyscout bringing her recyclable red cup with her that looked like an ordinary dixie cup. You can easily say she was thirsty!
After her 1st game, she made the comment ...."I am better than my friends." as she shanked the ball out of bounds.
Whether that is true or not, she had a great time dancing in between games, refilling her empty cup and playing in the sand all while having a giant smile on her face. This made her the front runner for the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations and continue the good times!
