After successfully beating the Pill Hill Bombers in extra innings to advance to the championship game, Humbabes were ready to fight for the title against the #1 seeded Bombers. There may have been a slight cool down from the previous game as the Humbabes fell down 5 runs in the first inning. That didn't last long, however, as they rallied to back to back 7 run innings shortly after. From there, they never looked back and continued to pour on the runs to what eventually led to the victory! Congratulations Humbabes!
“What can’t this man do?!” A question most of us asked all night long when Kyle from Humbabes was taking the field. In the semi finals, he pitched a gem securing the win in the 9th inning for his team to advance to the championship. He was lights out in the championship game as well. But pitching wasn’t the only thing Kyle had rolling. Whenever his team needed him most at the plate, he produced. He had clutch hit after clutch hit to help get his team the win in both games. For blessing everyone with his athletic ability, Kyle is our player of the week!
