Entering the day as the #2 seed, but playing like a #1, Kicksaurus had what it took to bring home the 'bacon'. It was a close first game against Straight Ballin, but big kicks turned out to be the difference for the rights to play Pitches be Crazy in the finals.
Another close, defensive game by both sides, with few mistakes and several nice plays. But yet again big kicks and aggressive base running, was too much. Adding 5 runs in the last 2 innings Kicksaurus was deserving of the Champs wristbands and photo. Nice playing and congrats.

Playing consistent kickball, from both sides of the plate, getting on base and making plays, Courtney was doing it ALL. Catching several pop ups at 3rd, while adding the play of the day( throw out from 3rd on grounder!).
Always hustling, smiling and having fun. Nice games and good work.
Sometimes it's not how many times you get on base that matters, but how much hard gritty play gets your team in the game. In the 5th inning in a very close game between friendly rivals it was Laura's gritty play that won the day. She took a fast hard cleat right into her leg and didn't drop the ball. Upon play stoppage she moved off the field, and in a fleeting whisper says I couldn't let her be safe. This is the spirit of the game
"One of our most fun players. One of our smartest players. A player all in his own. Bumpas!"
"We will miss you tremendously. Love you Bumpas!"
From his crazy glasses to his on-field smoking habit, we will never forget Ben. This season is for you my man...
