Our player of the week is someone who is both a great player and teammate. Jesusa comes to the courts early, just in case another team needs an extra player. She is a consistent setter and passer, placing balls perfectly for her teammates. She gets low for digs, making big saves at clutch moments. In addition to all that, Jesusa has a great attitude and clearly enjoys playing volleyball, making her a great example of an Underdog player. Congrats!
Opening night @ SE PDX courts, with both new and returning teams. Indy # 2 was the first of it's kind and showed they can play. With only 5 total and never playing/knowing each other before the night, they made plays.
Troy was ready, making the transition from the sand, no problem. Hustling, high 5'in and hitting hard, nice match. Keep having fun and smiling.
