It was great getting to watch “We thought this was Softball” this season. They won every game this season and played with good sportsmanship. When they were winning by a lot during the regular season, they were very polite to the other teams and did not run up the score. They had a few really close games in the playoffs. In the semifinals they were losing 16-2 in the 5th inning and rallied back to win it 19-18. Today they were able to secure the championship, winning 10-4, led by Sam (player of the game) who had an amazing catch in the outfield.
Joe had a great game this week! He got on base a lot and had a really nice catch at second base. Joe played a key role in his team’s win this week.
Congrats to this week's POTW, Flora! Flora had an amazing game this week. She got on base a couple times. Also she had had a great double at second base that was critical to ending the inning in a close game. Great job.
Lauren played great this week. She had 2 amazing plays in the field. One where she caught a ball that her teammate bobbled. The other she made diving catch while her hat came off. She also had 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Great job Lauren and congrats on being this weeks Player of the Week!
