With their semi final played 3 weeks ago, Unprotected Sets and Spike Club had to get back into the groove of things pretty quickly. Both teams dusted off the rust and played their hearts out. Game one was a back and forth match, with neither team letting anything drop in front of them without the utmost effort you knew from the first serve that it was going to be a close one. And by just a final score of 25-21, Unprotected Sets squeaked out a game one win.
The heart that Spike Club has they weren’t going to let game two go without another fight. They had some well place returned serves and great talk on the court. But Unprotected Sets was out to earn their wrist bands and they pushed right back. They scrapped for every ball they could find and there was no looking back. They were in it to win it and that they did. With a game two score of 25-18m Unprotected Sets became our Softcore 2 champions. Great Season for both teams and we can’t wait to see you back next season!
