Notes

First Place

Winter Co-ed Cornhole at Brewcycle Portland Thursdays

In the inaugural BrewCycle cornhole league, everyone was a winner. Yet there could be only one champ and the Unicornholes rose to the occasion, taking home the coveted Champs wristbands and positioning themselves to defend the title later in the month. Yes, Unicornholes, you have to sign up for the next league or we will be quite sad.
Led by the one and only Karyn, the Unicornholes saw their ups and downs throughout the season, but they managed to put all the pieces together (and their bags in the hole) when it counted. Sure, Josh still got frustrated when the ladies out threw him. And yes, Grant's shirts were too tight (we won't even begin to mention the Ninja Turtle undies). And... yes, Melissa is the nicest person ever (way to go Karyn!). But none of that mattered on championship night as the Unicornholes, dressed as revolutionary internet pirates, breezed through the first round and slowly pulled away in the championship, saving the nails of the tens of spectators. Cornholes were abound, and these mythical characters marched, pranced, and flew (plus whatever else unicorns do) right into the 2014 Underdog record books.
Congrats on the big win ladies and gents. See you next season...

Karyn Trivette

Ya, that's a homemade unicorn hat!

The unicornholes mean business this season, and they proved it by showing up on day one with some killer homemade unicorn hats. Orchestrated by their team leader, Ms. Karyn Trivette, the Unicornholes came charging out of the gate, placing their horns in every hole that they could find. But lets not get it twisted, the matterhorn (that's like the biggest and baddest horn, right? or a mountain?) was definitely Karyn. Keeping her crazy boys and earning prize tickets right and left and up and down, Karyn brought the A-game and spirit that epitomizes Underdog cornhole. Can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings for Karyn and her Unicornhole cohorts!
