Last week of Gabriel Softball, ended how it started, nice sunny days and good plays. Rippers were playing good softball and so was Nathan. Catching balls in RC and holding runners to their base.
Adding hits and hustle on offense, he plated a couple with his hits. Collecting balls that cleared the fence and hitting one himself! Nice game and season.
Second week of the season, but teams seemed mid form. Talking, hustling and having fun on both sides. Using the 3 home run rule strategically, waiting til runners where on base, then clearing the fence, No Glove, was playing smart.? Defense was also a premium throughout the game.
Playing short stop all game, Matt accounted for more than half of the 27 total outs on defense. He was all over the left side of the diamond, making diving catches, nice throws and the catch of the day! It was someone to see, nice job. Keep it up Rippers.
