This week player of the week couldn't go to just 1 person, but the 3 players on the Golden Rods who worked their tails off to make it a great first round play off game. Scott, Jamiee and Adam were the dream team this week and made some great plays. The whole team wasn't there to play in the final game, but these three showed what this team was all about, hard working and fun! Great work Golden Rods!
It is a feat that everone prays happens when they shank that ball but only a few times a year does it actually go in! Chuck S from the Golden Rods had the ball roll of his fingers and into the basket on the 2nd play of the night! This hoop earned him player of the week! But his basketball skills were small comparison to his hard work on the volleyball court this week. Chuck worked all night on getting those tips in an at the end of the night, nailed three great tips to end the game. Chuck gave every effort no matter where he was on the court! Great work Chuck and all of the Golden Rods!
