With regular season behind us, it's easy to look at results and rankings heading into the playoffs and start the process of overlooking teams.
That may have been the case when the #1 seeded Volley Llamas came into Thursday's match against awkward high fives.
After a grueling back and forth match that went all three sets, awkward stood victorious over the shocked #1 seeded Llamas.
When asked how they turned it on in in time for the playoffs they could be quoted as saying it's now or never. And we want to play next week.
A true team effort full of lots of spikes and big plays, the Awkward crew rolls into week 2 with a bit of a swagger looking for their next opponent to underestimate their skills.
