Player of the week

It was their third and final game on a very hot and humid day for Twirl Baby Twirl, but Matt held back a little extra for the very end. It was a close game coming out of half time with The Waterboys at the heels of Twirl Baby Twirl.
In a whirlwind of plays with both quarterbacks throwing a series of interceptions, there was Matt hauling in pick after pick after pick. He jumped a route for the first, dropped back into position on the second, and didn't have to move an inch for the third interception. Matt and the rest of Twirl Baby Twirl hustled every minute of the 120 minutes on the field this afternoon. Matt came up big throughout the three games earning himself player of the week honors!

Twirl Baby Twirl really did twirl their way to a win this Sunday. They made the most of every play, turning short passes into long gains, even touchdowns. They made the defense miss time and again by twirling, really. Skylar found himself in the right position at the right time to seal the fate of The Waterboys at the end of the game. He came down with a big one handed interception and yes, really, did a little twirl, before going to the ground. Twirl Baby Twirl has their first win of the season and look to be finding their stride just as we are getting going.
