Quite possibly the best play of the season from Nick and it couldn't have come at a better time... In the bottom of the 7th inning Back Up Off Me Pitches was clinging onto a lead that would win them the championship if they could get 2 more outs. Right before the play happened Nick said he get me the ball and I'm going to turn 2... The ball was hit to the pitcher, passed back to Nick for the out at 2nd and the throw to 1st was good for the double play and the championship! What a way to win it all and end your season, great job Nick and the team!
Most enthusiastic person on the field all day! Carlie is a very fun person to be around and does a great job for her team on defense at the catching position and batting as well. She had a couple pop up plays behind home plate that she got to make a play on and got the catch for the out and boy I have never seen some one jump up and down as excited as she was! Not only is she a great team player but also plays great for being hungover every week, she's like the energizer bunny! Great job this week Carlie and keep it up in the championship next weekend!
