It was a great night for the Softcore Championship at the Boys and Girls club. We had 4 amazing teams that were there to fight for the "Underdog Champion" title but only one could take that home. After the first round of games it was a battle between the 1st and 2nd seeds, Spike This and BOPA.
Spike This gave it all their 5 person team had but after two hard fought games, BOPA was the victorious ones! They talked it up on the court and were ready for what ever came their way. They were consistant from the serving line, they found the holes when tipping it over and they were making big blocks for big points. BOPA earned their championship wristbands with style this season,. Great work BOPA!

The Wobbles were a solid team all season long and after two games tonight, they earned their championship wrist bands for the season. This group of 6 was ready for what ever came their way. They had a scare when the Sets on the Beach team made a late rally in the second game of their first match to send it to a third. But the Wobbles buckled down and took game 3 by 10.
After a short rest, they were up against the always fun, team America. As both teams were on their second match of the night, tired legs kicked in but the Wobbles were holding strong and they took home the championship in 2. Great work Wobbles!
