Bowling Schedule

Winter Big Turkey Bowling Portland Tuesdays 7pm

Sunday, January 1

POTW: Randy Jones
Up your Alley
Sporting the blue tank top of legends, Randy got "Up your Alley" off to a big start in their first ever Big Turkey Bowling league. Bowling in the clean up spot (#6) Randy put up a 110 and a 150 in the 2nd game, leading his team to a clean sweep of Napolean Bowlamite. Nice work Randy, that movie sucked anyway....

POTW: Erika
Jazzy's Crew
Bowling for the first time this season, Erika led Jazzy's Crew to victory in the 2nd game of the night. Starting off with a slow "gutter friendly" game, Erika picked up the intensity in the 9th frame with a spare and then 3 consecutive strikes in the 10th frame to finish with a big 98. Nice work Erika ..a trukey is always a good way to end the night.

POTW: The Whole Damn Team
Bourbon Crew
Suprise winners for POTW this week, the rare entry of an entire team, as the Bourbon Crew managed to not utter one expletive, or chant, until at least 9:15, resulting in not one complaint for the big turkey or his favortie Tuesday league. This new zero complaint record brought a tear to the Turkeys eye, or perhaps that was the wood grain alcohol he later ingestested outside of Voodoo doughnuts ....

POTW: Brian Coyle
Bourbon Crew
What did you wish for Brian? Because if POTW honors were it... then your wish came true. Not only was it his birthday ladies and gents, Mr. Coyle also rolled a strike in the 10th frame sealing the deal for the Bourbon Crew. Way to go Brian, we heard your wife saying after the game, "Bowling shoes are nice, but wait till he sees what I got him!!"

POTW: Hadewych Verlinden
Countess Verlinden's Remarkable Legion of Keglers
This week Hadewych scores not only POTW honors, but name of the century honors as well. For digging deep and pulling out a 165 in the second game, she vaulted her team to victory. While a 165 is notable on its own, it was the increase over her first game that caught the Turkey's attention. So while the name may be difficult, its bowling that comes easy to Hadewych!

Like Phil Jackson coaching the Bulls, Tye's skillful leadership has a dynasty in the making. Over the season he has consistanly had his team knocking over the compitition, knocking on the door of a 2nd championship, all while knocing back a few free Red Hooks.

That my friends is a hell of alot of knocking.

So congrats on the 2nd championship Tye and The Bourbon Crew - You can add POTW to the resume.
