Bowling Schedule

Early Spring TUESDAY Big Turkey Bowling Hollywood Bowl

Tuesday, March 13

POTW: Daniel Haave
Safety Pins
After Dan rolled a 53 in the first game of the night all of Hollywood could hear a low rumble not unlike The Incredible Hulk changing from Bruce Banner to the big green monster. Dan grabbed his ball, stomped some innocent bystanders and upped his score by 50 points to a 103! Best news is his score was not dropped in the second game because Spiderman only rolled a 102. Way to go Dan.

POTW: Danielle Shirtcliff
Wild Turkey's
With a fire in her eyes, Danielle Shirtcliff entered the night's bowling action on a mission...To bowl like a true champion. And bowl like a champion she did. She was on fire from the onset. With an impressive 152 in the first game, she showed the league that she meant buisness this evening. Yet she saved the best for last. She came back on the second game to roll an amazing 170, that helped rally her teamates, and push her opponents to the limits. Although her team didn't win the match, she still reminds us it is not wheather you win or lose, but how you roll that counts.

POTW: Heather Smith
Up S*** Creek Without a Bumper
Up S*** Creek nabbed their first point of the season on the back of Heather's 95 in the 2nd game of the night. After a 54 in the first game, a couple pints of Red Hook and some luck from the Big Turkey - she upped her score by over 40 points and just like that the team is Up S*** Creek no more. Way to roll Heather.

POTW: Melinda Mayes
Up S*** Creek Without a Bumper
She may not be perfect, but after bowling 6 straight frames of zeros and blank spaces on the score board, she managed to hit a strike on the 7th frame! Topping off her score she managed to make collision with one more pin on the tenth frame!! Way To Go Melinda!

POTW: Jason Hall
Wild Turkey's
Did that just happen?!?!?! It did. While Wild Turkey's earned no points this week, they sure earned some points with new favorite rivals Spare Me. Both of these teams did an incredible job, and had a really great time doing it! Ryan was one team member who surely stood out for his enthusiasm and pure love of the sport. He was also the most excited when the team won a Big Turkey (that's 5 strikes in a row, folks!). This team used their 9th and 10th frame in the second game like they meant it, racking up spares and strikes like nobody's business—and that's what the Turkey likes to see! Great job!
