Bowling Schedule

Late Fall Co-ed Bowling Hollywood Bowl Thursdays 7pm

Thursday, October 25

POTW: Mandy Griffin
Sweet Sweet Ching Chong
Sweet Sweet Ching Chong (formerly known as Sweet Sweet China) tends to be a front-runner each league, and from the look of this week they are well on their way into the playoffs again. Mandy, one of the ladies on the team, scored a 192 in game 2! 192! She almost had to be capped! Good work Mandy, we look forward to seeing that score creep even higher over the next few weeks.

POTW: Katie Stone
Purple Rain
You might think that we would give the award this week to someone like Kris from Red Bowls and Vodka who capped out in both games and had a perfect game going through 7 frames, or perhaps either Rose from Ceiling Cat or Heather of XXX who both bowled powerhouse nights... well, you would be wrong. Instead, we are going to split the award up and give it to two players who had average nights from the same team. That's right, congratulations Ryan and Katie of Purple Rain! Did they bowl particularly well? No. Do they deserve the award? Probably not. But sometimes in the cut-throat world of Big Turkey bowling, it's more what you do "outside the lanes."

POTW: Heather Smith
Easy Cheeze
You know when someone goes by the name "Goooouuuuuda," they have to be, well, good. And Heather sure was last night. Sporting one of Easy Cheeze's classy new bowling shirts, Heather hit a split with such grace that it propelled her right past the competition and into Big Turkey's "Spare of the Night" award. Beyond that, she also got the Super Secret Score (if you don't know what that is, hopefully one day you will). Great job Heather!

POTW: Stephanie Kight
Blue Ballers (Indy #3)
Had this been Playoffs Week, and 9-pin No-tap had been in effect, Stephanie would've taken the crown for sure! In the first game Stephanie hit 9 after 9, but then bumped a few of those up to 10's in game 2, ending with a score of 146. Way to go Stephanie-let's see if you can keep the streak going next week!

POTW: Dana de Abreu
Happy Hookers
Dana rocked out with her turkey out tonight! Usually one to stay with a pretty low pin count, Dana brought it tonight and rolled a 189 in game one--way to go Dana (just remember to leave out the part in this story where it was 9-pin no-tap night)!
