Annie Rose Macer arrived at Richmond Elementary School with a shy grin on Wednesday evening. None of the other independent dodge ballers had great expectations from the soft spoken Macer. Upon the whistle Annie Rose demonstrated a dodgeball slaughter. She was killing left right, killing right, and then making circus style catches all over the court. Annie Rose may have entered that gym an overlooked coed participant; but a path cleared the hall to let this stone cold killer with a menacing smile peacefully exit the school until next week...

Week two of dodgeball brought us a new facility, sponsor bar, and fresh new techniques from all the teams. Shingo Hamada's Matrix style moves defy physics. It gave Tu Madre a narrow victory over Indy #2.

Smells a Bit Dodgey
A circus rolled right into the Benson High School gym tonight. The Smells a Bit Dodgey team was literally dressed like the Ringling Brothers as they took on two good opponents. Overall, the night was successful and fun for a spirited Smells a Bit Dodgey Team and hey, they even managed to fit a sword fight into the schedule during their last game against Tu madre. Smells a Bit Dodgey made it fun for everyone and that is why they are the players of the week.

You have to like the Smells a Bit Dodgey team. You have to love any team that gives a cirque du soleil performance before their first match... or starts each night with team Samoan chants. Even the teams that seem a little annoyed by all of this still love the Smells a Bit Dodgey Team at least a little bit. They make Wednesday night fun! That's why it was great to see Rebekha Skelly of Smells a Bit Dodgey team make a game winning catch and take down player of the week.
