Angry Koala's, Do-over, The Bloopers, We Got the Runs, Again
POTW: darrin swaim
The Bloopers
Amazing ricochet off the hands, off another outfielder's back, and into the hands of the Mighty SWAMI who came out all the way from the infield to make the catch. Absolute must have for any Blooper reel collector!
Angry Koala's, Do-over, The Bloopers, Tighty Whities- Indy #1
POTW: John Palomarez
Angry Koala's
The Angry Koalas kicked it up a notch this week in many ways. They had a great time on the field throughout the game and managed to take the win utilizing their overpowering strength. An example of their strength can easily be shown through a single play by John Palomarez. Could it be possible that Mr. Palomarez has the strongest arm in the world? Perhaps. All we can assume is that he is unaware of the force his massive arm generates which is why he fell so hard on his throw to first from third. Congrats, John. You are my player of the week!
Angry Koala's, Straight Ballin', The Bloopers, We Got the Runs, Again
POTW: Christinea Jesser
Do-over
With runners at second and third down by two runs the Sweatbands had one of their big kickers up to bat. He boomed a moon ball that was coming down somewhere near second base. Christina came in to make a great catch, and keep her Do-over team ahead!
Angry Koala's, Do-over, The Bloopers, Tighty Whities- Indy #1
POTW: Erin Keeler
We Got the Runs, Again
Erin demonstrated what it means to be a true kickballer. Showing her true grit, she was able to score a run, even though she took a spill rounding third. Any other mere mortal would have stayed down, head in the dirt. Not Erin - she was not to be denied.
Even though the weather was as cold as ice, Naomi was no foreigner to making the spectacular look routine. She displayed great kicking, great fielding, great running, and was not afraid of getting muddy. Awesome performance!
Sweatbands, The Bloopers, Tighty Whities- Indy #1, We Got the Runs, Again
POTW: Doug Clove
Straight Ballin'
What Willie "Pops" Stargell was to the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates, Doug was to the Straight Ballin' crew. He was the glue that held everything together, the straw that stirred the drink, and Mr. October all rolled into one. He displayed clutch fielding, clutch kicking, and heads up base running along the way to a two win night for his team. Fantastic performance.

Annie is the player of the week for her undeniable speed around the base paths and heads up base running. She had a huge three run home run to rally her team in the bottom of the third inning, and then showed fantastic savvy on the bases to tag up on a fly ball. On the next play, she scored from second to win the game, helping her team pull off the upset. Great Job!
The sweatbands defense was untouchable tonight and helped their team to a Championship. Everyone chipped in on the field and for the they are our championship players of the week.
