That's right, ladies and gentlemen! Meatus Puppets have taken number one in an epic battle against heavy rollers, Rusty TromBOWLers, Rollin Heads, and Your Balls Can't Hit My Split! An amazing pair of games from Meatus Puppets just barely squeaked them through to the championship win by a mere handful of pins, each round!
#1 team and returning champs, Your Balls Can't Hit My Split came to game 2 with the hilarity of anger faces brought on by a ridiculous first game by the TromBOWLers. Close, close first match put TromBOWLers a mere 6 pins ahead and into the finals.
Just beside them, Meatus Puppets rolled strong while Rollin Heads tried to bring it back together for the finals. Maybe it was the massive amounts of green they were wearing, distracting them, but Rollin Heads just couldn't dance and cheer themselves into the big one as in previous seasons. Meanwhile, Andrea's 193 and Toby's 175 put them well a (rollin) head for their first big win of the night.
The finals came down to solid bowling and, again, just a handful of pins falling in favor of Meatus Puppets! Well done, sirs and ladies!
Rollin' Heads were able to pull together a great huge stack of Spirit Coupons thanks to their unwavering adherence to the spirit of Underdoggers everywhere. Dressing up in hilarious costumes every week, creating new games and cheers each week, and just plain having a great time on those lanes!
