POTW: Danny Sexton
Dry Bumpers
I imagine Danny seeing "Pirate Night" last week and getting super excited. Why? Because, like me, his high school mascot was The Pirates and still had his basketball uniform from those sweet, sweet glory days! Wearing his Green and White with pride, Danny rolled himself into a couple qualifying scores and helped his team fend off the Cobra Kai! Nicely done, sir! Goooooo PIRATES!

POTW: Josh Gawlista
Cobra Kai Hit Squad
In a tribute to his namesake, Josh put on quite the song and dance...literally. For our "Spirit Challenge" night Cobra Kai pieced together a masterpiece of a song and was willing to perform said song (along with a few male booty dancers in the background) to show that they missed their normal supervisor, Josh, this week. Although anyone that saw the song and dance won't be able to see quite straight for a few more days, it was well worth it!

POTW: The Chaperons
Dangling Modifiers
Keeping the kids of Prom Night in line was a tough job, but someone had to do it! Thanks to the stern looks and threats of violence via wooden ruler of our two Prom Night chaperons we were able to keep our Prom fun and safe. We danced without touching, we spoke without flirting, we joked without hurting, and only consumed our allotted number of beverages. Thank you, good chaperons. Without you, I could never have kept these kids off the streets and out of the alleys. Wait... we were in an alley...

POTW: Liz Ramey
POTW: Liz Ramey
The Balls Strike Back
Hmmm... I wonder how Liz could possibly have gotten the Player of the Week? Was it the great first game score? Nope. Though 198 is a great roll for anyone, especially a bowler like Liz who averages about 100 per game, it is simply not enough for a POTW medal.

However, losing all inhibition with each and every strike you make is a great qualification. When said loss of inhibition turns into a one lady dance party after every roll, now we're talking hall of fame status. Over the course of the evening, I was able to jot down a number of her hilarious quotes. Please note that each and every one of them was loud, proud, and in the middle of hysterical laughter...

"I just rocked my world!"
"It's like I'm a freaking superstar!"
"I'm I amazing?"
"Is this wierd?"
"This is the first time I drank BEFORE bowling..."

Add to that her delivering Sage of Cobra Kai a birthday spirit card, then singing Happy Birthday in the style of New Kids on the Block? Seriously, New Kids on the Block...

You win, Liz. You win!
