All season long two great teams played unforgettable games and this was nothing short of that. Mud and cold rain was the atmosphere and a championship on the line to add to it. Balls & Dolls vs- Farve Dollar Footlong team the choppy field with championship fever.
This game was close from the start with Jen Newton encouraging her fellow Farve Dollar Footlong teammates by making two outstanding catches which led into a touchdown. At halftime the score was close 14-8 Balls & Dolls on top. With family and friends cheering on the side for their team and players, these two masterful teams take the field for the 2nd half. Sacha Bernards from Balls & Dolls made an amazing catch falling down as she slipped in the mud. Rubbing off on her teammates, quarterback Steven rushed for a touchdown only to be stopped by Footlong's defensive captain, Jen Newton in an outstanding flag pull just short of the end zone. Eventually Balls & Dolls ended up scoring and then Farve Dollar Footlong answers with a touchdown of their own. A close see-saw battle with under 2 minutes to play and down 27-26, Balls and Dolls' Jeff Mumford leaps in the air and pulls down the pigskin tip-toeing in the back of the end zone for the go ahead touchdown. With 15 seconds left and Farve Dollar Footlong knocking on the doors of the end zone for the win, a critical 4th down a pass is thrown on the goal line and out of nowhere, in comes flying Valarie Gonzales to snatch the ball for the interception and a 33-26 win.
Despite the rain and cold temperature, family and friends came out to support their team. These two teams did not disappoint, a true warrior's battle. Congratulations to all Underdog teams and players. A special congratulations to this season's champions Balls and Dolls!

Rain, mud and cold wind only means one thing....Football. Underdog warriors have been doing this all season long with the championship in mind.
It came down between Hardcore Fun Seekers -vs- Sub 5 (Formally Team Speed). Both teams where eager and ready. Angela Zielinski set the tempo on defense as she has during the playoffs for Hardcore Fun Seekers, pulling 4 flags in the 1st half. After the break it was Kevin Berry's turn to shine for the Fun Seekers. He went on an onslaught making 3 interceptions and wrapped it off with a touchdown towards the end of the game.
Sub 5, a great team and played a hard game, but unfortunately never got on track and ended up short at the end of the game 40-18.
