Summer Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Wednesdays

Rachel, or "Rae" as she is called by her teammates, did a wonderful job during her first week as captain. She not only lead the team with her knowledge of the game but also her relentless optimism and cheerful spirit. In between pitches at her catcher position Rachel was always dancing to music or asking the other team for tips! A unique but successful strategy as Da Bulls pulled out a nailbiter in this week's game.

Josh is POTW this week for his rambunctious and upbeat attitude in his game today. Although Nerdherd suffered a defeat, you would not be able to tell by looking at Josh and his teammates. Joking around with the other team and the umpires despite the score shows true Underdog spirit. Keep it up Josh!

Marcus is this week's Player of the Week for his outstanding play and great Underdog attitude. He took part in a rare triple play where he caught a line drive, threw it to first to double up the runner and then the first baseman threw it to home to get the runner out trying to tag up! He also kicked a homerun for the cherry on top.

Maylannee was a huge asset to her team this week. Her ability to get on base in addition to a number of great catches, proved to be a crucial factor in helping her team to victory. Maylannee displayed a lot of passion and encouragement for her team, often standing behind the fence at home plate rooting on her team's kicker. Maylannee's player ability and enthusiasm ultimately earned her this week's POTW award.
