Team Defense

Some do like it soft but this team play hard. Some Like it Soft has proved that they belong with the best in the championship game. They met up against Wet Hot AA in the title game and they refused to back down.
To start the game Some Like it Soft had the ball and quickly marched down the field to score a touchdown when Megan B. caught a ball and ran down the field like a gazelle and into the end zone. This quick strike set the tempo for the game that promised to be a good one.
As the game went on both teams made great plays. Shelby G. from Wet Hot AA caused trouble for the QB by putting constant pressure on him. Some Like it Soft countered with their abundant weapons to choose from. Paul V. continued where he left off in the regular season by making spectacular defensive stops with his quick breaks on the ball.
Ultimately, it was Joe D. soft hands proving that he does like it soft as he caught 4 passes for an amazing 441 yards. It was a team effort on offense, but defense was where it was stepped up as they held off a great team in pursuit of their championship.
When the whistle blew, it was 33-27 as Some Like it Soft took home another title.

Team Play

Josh Lovell went off in his pursuit for excellence. He had a great supporting cast in his teammates as they go on and win another title over a tough opponent, Alcoholics Anonymous.
Early on, QB Jason threw a beautiful spiral to a long striding, Josh as he marched into the end zone. This sent the tempo of the game. Jason was a monster on the field finding every teammate for multiple completions.
Courtney made a few key plays when she caught a ball on 3rd and long by her fingertips. She is that kind of player that if you make it hard for her, she will catch it. On defense, The Rastabouts have William to defend the deep ball. He can defend with the best with mad hops as if he were on a trampoline.
Josh Lovell set the tempo of this game and the rest of his players followed. Congratulations to a great team that stepped up and added another title to their franchise.

How are Standings Calculated?
Standings shown do not automatically adjust for tiebreakers. Tiebreakers may be adjusted manually prior to playoffs with head-to-head followed by runs/points allowed (or sets lost for Volleyball leagues) as the top 2 criteria. Forfeits may be calculated differently as stated below.
