Spring Rookie/Softcore Kickball at Peninsula Park Sundays

Cody was hustling all over the field in both games of The Kickfast Club's doubleheader. By the end of Game 2 he was covered head-to-toe in mud from sliding, diving, and tumbling to make spectacular plays on defense.

In the Game 2 walk-off victory, he made a rolling catch with his legs, had another diving grab, and scored multiple times. Cody gave it his all in the field, on the basepaths, and with his kicks, ultimately helping The Kickfast Club secure the victory. Not even Mother Nature could stop Cody this Sunday at Peninsula Park.

What a difference a week makes! One week after having to leave the game early due to injury, Srey came back to lead Pitch & Moan to a walk-off victory on Sunday night. With the game tied in the bottom of the 7th, 2 outs and a runner on third, Srey's single drove in the winning run.

It was a great ending to the last game of the night at Peninsula on Sunday. With her scrapes still healing from the following week, Srey came right back with the energy and enthusiasm we love to see at Underdog Kickball. Congratulations Srey and congrats to Pitch & Moan for taking the W on Mother's Day!

After a "sabbatical" in Pennsylvania, Maribeth returned to Portland (and Underdog) with a bang. Locking down 2nd base, with some great stops, and kicking (her words) "a legit triple, no errors", Cats were able to hold off their foes to advance in the playoffs. Welcome home Maribeth!
