Summer Co-ed Sand Volleyball at Eastmoreland Courts Tuesdays

Sarah is one of a kind! Her dynamic agility and energy sparked the team’s 3 set win. Kudos to her raw instincts! They were on high displayed as she tackled any ball hit her way.

Ben!!! He did it all!!! POTG and now POTW. He groomed the court for his team, helped soak it down and then dominated the match battle. He was superb in his game and a valuable contributor to HISYM's success. Utility would be an understatement.

The old saying of "When the going gets tough, the tough get going" really applied to Brenna Hoffman of Bleu Ballz on Tuesday at Eastmoreland Courts. Even though the Bleu Ballz didn't take a set in three games versus Cajoon Ballers, her teammates knew that Brenna would give her all as she always does. Battling intense heat on Court 3, Brenna powered away some killer serves and battled mightily at the net by tossing up soft sets to her teammates and taking turns with crashing kills. Never losing her energy, Brenna kept the momentum up and inspired her mates to keep up a fluid flow to the game. Brenna's toughness never wavered and she looked just as intense in the final volley as the first. Superwoman!

The Cajoon Ballers came to win this week and Sam led the charge. With only 3 players tonight they were killing it. Sam was acing serves and making great plays at the net. The game was decided in two rounds and Sam didn't let up until it was over! Great work Sam and team!

This week player of the week goes out to Collin! He is a true giver. Collin not only gives of his time before the games to ensure that all teams are comfortable with a cooler down court, he also plays full out and hits every inch of that court to get after the ball! Collin doesn’t let a little concrete and rock residue built up in the back cramp his style. There’s not much that stops this man from digging every hit, and recovering every shank. Congratulations Collin on being our Player of the Week!!
