Smiles from ear to ear
Kickin' it with my Cronies
After an awesome catch by Hannah, she was so proud of herself that she starting jumping up and down like a child about to get some candy! Her smile was ear to ear and lasted the entire inning. Way to go Hannah, be yourself and have some fun...it's kickball after-all!

Blood, Sweat, and Beers... and MASCOT!
Landers Boyd brings cutest mascot
Landers Boyd has Jameson and Jameson loves kickball! Jameson, the cutest Corgi puppy in the world played mascot and won the hearts of everyone on Thursday night. Standing at the dugout gate, Jameson, as if like a manager spitting sunflower seeds, crunched on his kibble and watched intently as his team fought hard on the field. His presence pumped up players as they ran onto the field, or lifted them up after an out, all with a simple pat on the cutest Corgi head ever. Jameson (who Landers named after the whiskey) knows how to post game party as well, partaking in a little beer drinking after a close 7-10 loss. Thanks go out to Ms. Boyd for bringing a true underdog who over performed on his mascot duties this evening!

Kelsey Ahern
Kickin' it with my Cronies
Kelsey Ahern shows that a little pain won't stop her! With catlike reflexes and a grizzly bear's tolerance for punishment, Kelsey transformed what could have been an awful facial injury into an astonishing out by catching the ball as it her head, using her face like a glove. Way to go Kelsey!

Darla Wall
Drinking Team with a Kicking Problem
Darla's entire team was great to watch, throwing in awesome chants involving a mixmatch between common songs and kickball lyrics. Darla was champ this week though, catching many key balls including one to stop runs late in the game with the bases loaded. Great job Darla!

Mike Conway
New Kicks on the Block-indy #1
You want to see initiative? How about slapping the ball out of a fielder's hands...moments after kicking it to him. That's precisely what Mike C. did. And why did he do it? Honestly I have no idea. Does it matter? It was awesome.
Alcobollic Muffin Tops may have won the battle, but after Mike C's daring slap play it's clear that "New Kicks" won the war.
David turned kickball into dodgeball on the baseline. If he was going to be put out, he was going out on his terms, showcasing his dodgeball skills by catching the ball.
Devin Rice came up with backup today.... A wonderful assortment of fans in the bleachers to cheer her awesome kicks! At her first step up to the plate, they encouraged her to kick a home run. She bunted down the 3rd base line, and it appeared as if it would be merely a single. However, fate was on Devin's side today, and the ball was missed by the fielder! Devin took off towards 2nd base, the fielder scrambling to keep the ball in bounds. The fielder finally managed to wrestle control of the ball, and Devin sped towards 3rd base. The ball was thrown, the fielder attempted to grab it by missed by a hair, and Devil set her sights on home. Devin took a simple bunt and managed to turn it into a home run, quite an astonishing feat. Great job Devin!
