Thimble, milk truck, D&D, softcore champs! What do these all have in common? They are or use meeples; a small figure used as a playing piece in board games! And on the board last night these Meeples pulled through and won it all!
And let me tell you, them and their competition brought the heat last night, their second match ending at 32-30. Talk about intensity! And on top of that this was a double-header. They kept the momentum up, didn't back down, and ignored any feeling of exhaustion. Great job last night and for the season Meeples!

This time, and only this time do I think it's socially acceptable to give a round of applause to, what I'm assuming and hope, is a reference to a Michael Scott quote.
The group of friends here who won this championship gave it their all! The first match was a warm up but once this crowd got their engine running they were going one to one for every point for at least the ten points in a row with their competition for the last two sets! That's right, it was one point to them, one point to the competition and so on and so on and so on.
I tell you it takes concentration and determination to keep up that intensity and not give up. They had set and attacks and responded just as well to the sets and attacks coming from the other side of the court. They were constantly talking and calling and wow! I'm getting nervous just thinking about the game again, what a nail biter and great last game of the season!!!
Keep up the great work.... That's what she set...

If I laughed as much as Gabby and friends I would not be able to stand up straight to hit the ball but somehow they do! I don't know how this team did it, but they were constantly with smiles and laughs all season while still playing great games! They must have secret because it got them to first place in the playoffs!
Gabby and friends know how to support one another with each success and attempt. There's no looking back for them, it's always forward and onto the next serve, such a great attitude! Congratulations on playing some awesome games this season and keeping up the great work!
