Summer Softcore Kickball at Gabriel Park Mon/Wed

Matt Pierce was unanimously voted by his teammates for being player of the game. He helped get his team onto the board by scoring their first run with some stellar base running skills, but his help didn't stop there! He made some clutch plays in the field with some catches and throwing runners out. Matt proved a great team leader by high fiving and cheering on his team.

It's difficult to capture the amount of energy that Floyd brings to each game in just one paragraph. Floyd not only assertively took responsibility in leading his Indy team, but also consistently ensured that his team was having fun. It was not long before he had even engaged the opposing team in a friendly conversation. Despite the results of the game, Floyd continuously encouraged his teammates to stay engaged the game. Several teammates even noted that "This was the most fun I've ever had!"

Outstanding energy, a positive attitude, and an exceptional athlete, Floyd continuously embodies the Underdog spirit. Great job Floyd!

Jeremy was unanimously selected by his teammates as an outstanding player and leader on and off the field. He showed true leadership by helping his team up to kick and in the field. He played a tight game at second while cheering his team on whenever he could. Jeremy is a great example of a trail blazer helping his team in every way.

Keith is described by his team as a great leader and killer at Ro-Sham-Bo. Keith demonstrates his leadership on and off the field. He is described as a great team captain, he’s organized and helpful and a great motivator for his team. Keith played with a great attitude and love for the game, which helped his team rally behind him!

Malia is an all around model kickball player. She brings the heat up to kick and in the outfield. She made numerous game saving clutch catches in the outfield, and kicked the ball with power and skill for each at bat. Malia showed great sportsmanship for her fellow teammates, and helped them score their highest scoring game yet! Way to go Malia!

Caleb put in a impressive defensive performance by catching everything that came his way, he instantly became a 'no fly zone' the entire game. He also put in some solid kicking work to help lead his team to victory in a highly competitive game.
Caleb stands out in almost every game and his team nominated him quickly for POTG, so I also felt that POTW was well deserved!

Matt was described by players as a courageous leader, who plays hard through personal pains! Matt played despite having some ankle pain, to help his team score their runs. He made some great plays in the field, keeping their defense strong. Matt kept a positive attitude and supported his teammates through a tough game! Great job Matt!
